If you are RENEWING an existing STR, please send an email to deputyclerk@goldentownshipmi.gov or call 231.873.4413 and ask for Essiah. 

Subject: STR; 

Your name and rental address,  so that your email may be added to give you access.    

Once your application and required downloads are verified, an invoice will be sent to you by email.  You will then be able to pay using the portal or mail a check.  

Please submit each year with your renewal the following: 

  • The new 5-page application
  • Insurance documents coded as Rental
  • Site Plan
  • Photo of rental property
  • Renter rules
  • Septic Inspection Certification

All applications and payments are due by February 28.   Please pay by then to avoid a hefty late fee.
